The new Master Program in Greek and Eastern Mediterranean Archaeology was launched by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens through its Department of History and Archaeology. This one-year master program is taught in English and offers its students the unique opportunity of literally hands-on learning, since it mostly takes place in archaeological sites and museums of Athens and Greece.
Such a program would be of great interest to persons either with a degree in archaeology or another humanities subject, or simply with a motivation towards a detailed understanding of the archaeology of Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean. The program prepares the students either for doctoral research or for a professional career in archaeology, the museum sector or the heritage industry at large.
The program starts in September 2017. Applications are accepted between January 9th and May 31st 2017.
